Historical Studies 4N3306:

This 14 week module focuses on 19th century Irish History. Important Irish historical topics such as the Act of Union, the Great Famine, Emigration and the Irish Land War will be examined but references will also be made to important historical, political, economic and social issues across Europe and America. Learners will be given the opportunity to carry out research, based on topics of personal interest. Various field trips and tours will be an important part of this very enjoyable history course.
