Patrick Kavanagh Student Poetry Awards – 2017

Attention: Principal & Teachers of English

Last year’s competition was an outstanding success. We had entries from all counties.
The Kavanagh Centre would like to thank your school for taking part and look forward to this year’s competition.

Please note that no student may enter more than one poem. As a guideline, we would recommend that no more than two students from each English class should be submitted for the competition from any one school. The closing date for receipt of entries is Friday 26th May 2017 at 4pm.

Presentation of this year’s certificates and prizes will be on the afternoon of Sunday 1st October 2017 in the Patrick Kavanagh Centre, Inniskeen.
Winning schools will be given adequate notice. (The Annual Patrick Kavanagh Weekend takes place in Inniskeen, Co Monaghan from Friday, 29th September to Sunday, 1st October 2017).

We look forward to receiving entries from your school.
