Patrick Kavanagh’s work illustrates a renaissance in Irish spiritual customs and values which would have been lost without him. His poetry and prose vividly tell the parochial tale which is everywhere acknowledged to be universal. Featuring Poetry Readings and Fanebank Dramatic Society. Guest artist Jim McKillop (Ireland’s greatest fiddle player) and supporting artists. Tall tales and songs from Brian Dooley and Thomas Ruddy.
