Every year, Mexico celebrates in November, the Day of the Dead with an Offering to the Dead, which consists of an altar in the name of their loved ones. The Embassy is organizing this year as part of their cultural events, an Offering in the names of Juan Goytisolo of Spain, Juan Rulfo of Mexico, and Patrick Kavanagh of Ireland.
The Mexican Embassy unveiled their altar to the dead on Wednesday 1st November at the Instituto Cervantes in Lincoln place. How nice to see Patrick Kavanagh honoured so with a place on the altar.
